Crodon Kitchen & Bath Centre completed for a beautiful young family of four, a full kitchen renovation in Burlington including an upstairs and basement bathroom renovation. During this larger project Crodon contractors also renovated the basement adding new beautiful vinyl plank flooring and new fireplace. The kitchen re-construction will be featured in this case study. This family went outside their comfort zone trusting our design team with bold colours and accents which they have fallen in love with.
Step 1
This picture was taken pre-reno. You can see this kitchen is small, dated, and not space conscious for a growing family.
Step 2
Here you can see walls have been removed increasing the space to let it breathe. It is clean and ready for the next stage of floor install.
Step 3
The fresh new tiled floor is complete and cabinets are being put together. There is now even room for an island!
Step 1
This kitchen is incredibly small and closed in which doesn’t invite company. The floor grout is dark and the whole atmosphere isn’t as modern, fresh, and functional as it could be. The opposite side of the kitchen had a small dining table beside patio doors. We removed that to install a large cabinet complete with beverage fridge.
Step 2
We pushed out a wall to increase the space. The dining table was moved into the next connecting room giving an open dining atmosphere. Here the floor is also being prepped to install its new Ceratec Visuals Gardone tile in colour Bone.
Step 3
We can see the tile has been installed. It is bright and airy and flows across the space beautifully. The gorgeous modern styled Miralis Maple Caoua cabinets are being assembled and the kitchen is beginning to take shape. Having created more space an island was installed which can function as an eating or food preparation space.
Step 4
Isn’t she gorgeous! A beautiful and functional island space with drop lighting and dynamic seating. There is under cabinet lighting along the countertop. The dynamic Berensen Slate Metro Collection hardware adds a very modern edge to this kitchen. The Ceratec Feng Shui backsplash with sparkling small Sanoma Earth Tantrum tile feature around the range gives the shine and sparkle yet subtlty to allow the countertop to be the star of the show. Cambria Quartz in Shirebrook has truly unique colouring to stand out. Included was an additional tall cabinet complete with additional counter space, beverage fridge, wine rack. This kitchen is ready to be enjoyed by all.
Summary
Our goal with every kitchen renovation is to leave our clients with a uniquely beautiful, truly functional space. So much of our lives are spent in, or centered around, the kitchen. Our kitchens serve as gathering spaces, a source of warmth and togetherness for family and friends. We use our kitchens as educational spaces, teaching our children the basic skills for a life they must someday live on their own. The kitchen is arguably the most important room in a house. We strongly believe that each of our clients deserves a space which is inviting and pleasant to navigate and work in.
At Crodon, each kitchen renovation is approached as a unique and individual project, much as our clients are individuals, with unique and personal needs and desires.
